Being Kind to Myself
Think of a recent Oops. If your best friend made that Oops, what would you say to them? Draw it — then say it to YOU.
This drawing is private and belongs to the child. Drawings are never collected, graded, or displayed unless the child offers them. Your teacher will not look at the paper copy without an invitation.
Just the Oops — what you DID. Not who you are. Nobody has to see this.
Draw you giving yourself the Sammy thumbs-up. Draw or write what the Kind Coach says.
“I care about you. Everyone goes through hard things. I am noticing this feeling.” Write your own version, or ask a grown-up to write yours.
You do not have to carry it alone. Tell a grown-up you trust — a teacher, a counselor, someone at home. Grown-ups can also call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line).
