Architecture of Grace · Terms of Use

The terms, in plain language

Short, readable, and meant to be understood without a lawyer — though your district's lawyer is welcome to read it too.

Effective date: September 5, 2026 · Using architectureofgrace.org means you accept these terms.

What you are using

Architecture of Grace is a set of learning materials and classroom tools — lessons, practice activities, self-reflection instruments, and an educator dashboard — built and maintained by one teacher-founder. Everything on the site is provided as-is and as-available: I work hard to keep it correct and working, but I do not promise it is without errors or that it will be available at any particular moment.

What you may do

What you may not do

What these tools are, and are not

These are teaching supports. The reflection instruments, check-ins, and dashboards are tools to help educators notice and respond — they are not medical or psychological diagnosis, screening for a disorder, or treatment of any kind, and their results should never be used as if they were. A score is a conversation starter for an educator who knows the child, not a clinical finding. The self-reflection instrument has not been through external reliability or validity testing. If you have concerns about a student's health or safety, involve the qualified professionals your school's procedures name.

Safety-critical lessons. A few activities touch on real-world physical safety. For those, the printed protocols that accompany the lesson are part of the lesson: follow them as written, with the adult supervision they call for. The materials do not substitute for your school's own safety procedures.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the author's total liability for any claim arising from the site or its materials is limited to the amount you paid for the specific materials involved — which, for the open portions, is nothing. The author is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for how results from the tools are interpreted or acted upon. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Privacy, governing law, and changes

Privacy is covered in its own document — the Privacy Policy — and for schools, the Data Privacy Agreement and Data Governance pages. In short: no accounts, no trackers, no company server; any synced data goes only to a Sheet the school owns.

Governing law: these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, and any dispute belongs in the courts of Illinois.

Changes: if these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after that date is acceptance of the new terms.
